Survey assistants support surveyors in all aspects of their role, making it a wonderful introduction to Surveying.

The role is available for anyone who has a good work ethic, is interested in progressing in the civil surveying field with a reputable company and can satisfy the below criteria:

Requirements-

  • Completed survey course at TAFE or University OR currently attending a survey course at TAFE or University
  • Available to work Monday to Saturday
  • Australian Citizen or Unrestricted Australian work rights
  • Ability to follow directions without needing constant supervision
  • Keen to grow their survey skills and progress their career with Muru
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • No experience required, just a can-do attitude
  • Construction Safety White Card
  • Job role is for Sydney based projects

engineering surveyor

The Engineering surveyor role is for those who have successfully completed their tertiary course in Survey and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in civil construction within the surveying industry.
Here at Muru survey our senior staff will help guide you to become the reputable surveyor our clients expect.

We have a variety of roles to suit those interested in surface works and/or tunnel works.

Requirements-

  • Successful completion of Bachelor or Diploma in Surveying or recognition by BOSSI of your overseas qualification
  • Available to work Monday to Saturday
  • Australian citizen or Unrestricted Australian work rights
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Civil construction or 5 years in subdivision/high rise construction
  • Ability to follow directions without needing constant supervision
  • Keen to grow their survey skills and progress their career with Muru
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

senior engineering surveyor

The Senior engineering surveyor role is for those with a minimum of 10 years experience and a proven track record of providing the highest standard of service to the client. We expect our Senior engineering surveyors to be able to perform their duties competently and work with minimal supervision.

This job role provides field support and mentorship to the junior members of the team. You will be expected to perform all duties assigned to you by your manager including but not limited to such things as designing, reporting, mentoring, day planning, volume calculations and a variety of other duties.

Requirements-

  • Successful completion of Bachelor or Diploma in Surveying or recognition by BOSSI of your overseas qualification
  • Available to work Monday to Saturday
  • Australian citizen or Unrestricted Australian work rights
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Civil construction
